We believe that all sports fans have the right to safe, clean and dignified toilet facilities. Our vision is a Changing Places toilet in every UK sports venue by 2030.
Building regulations state that all new build venues, with capacities of over 350, must have at least one Changing Places toilet. But in the sports sector, where the majority events take place in older buildings, this legislation is somewhat redundant.
We believe that everybody, regardless of their level of mobility, should be able to participate in or spectate their favourite sport, free of the fear of having to leave early or being changed in dirty and unhygienic environments.
Through revised legislation, better education, and the installation of more facilities, #RiseforSport aims to put at least one Changing Places toilet in every UK stadium by 2030.
1. Revised Legislation: Our petition is the first step towards revised UK legislation — making Changing Places a mandatory requirement in all stadiums, not just new builds.
2. Better Education: We’ll be educating sports clubs and venues across the UK about the moral, legal and financial reasons for installing these life changing facilities.
3. More Facilities: Our construction team will be installing new Changing Places, whilst our specialist bid writers will be supporting venues with fundraising where possible.

Over 250,000 people in the UK need Changing Places toilets (that’s one in every 250 people).
We’re a group of disability campaigners, athletes, politicians and businesspeople, on a mission to put a Changing Places toilet in every UK sports venue.
